 * FIT & ADJUSTMENT - The ergonomic fit of the QUANTUM Q2 head guard can be precisely adjusted to almost any head shape. This shape is precisely adapted to the human head so that the head guard sits firmly on the head and does not slip even with hard hits. The fit is designed in such a way that the head guard precisely covers the entire surface of the head and thus protects every corner. The wide Velcro fastener at the back of the head can be closed very easily and firmly and is used to adjust the head circumference as well as the head length.

 * PROTECTION & PADDING - All of the padding on this head guard is hand molded from multiple layers of EVA foam (on the outside) and a softer and more comfortable layer of latex foam (on the inside). The forehead and the sides of the head are thickly (3cm) padded as the the hardest and most dangerous hits usually land there. The cheekbone and nose protection is even stronger, and with 3.5 cm thick padding, it is enough to protect the nose ideally and prevent nose injuries from even the strongest blows. This protection was designed in such a way that it lies extensively and close to the nose and thus also prevents nose breaks. The ear openings are padded with foam rings (which run around the ears), which serve both to absorb shock and to protect the ear cups. The head guard has extra padding on the top of the head, which protects the head from elbow techniques, foot techniques, and accidental boxing hits during clinching. Additional padding is placed on the back of the head, which protects it from unintentional hits and also cushions the impact of your own head on the ground if you fall (e.g. through a knockout).

* CARE - This head guard should be placed in a dry, ventilated, and shaded place to dry after each workout. It should never be exposed to direct sunlight because the sun can damage both the upper material and the foam core. This head protection should be cleaned about every 30 training sessions. The outer leather material should be wiped with a damp cloth without using cleaning detergents. This gets rid of the dirt and, above all, the salt contained in the sweat. The salt pulls the moisture out of the leather, making it dry and brittle, which shortens its lifespan. If the leather is completely dry again after approx. 24 hours, you can also grease it with a special leather care product (as you do with leather shoes), which will keep its natural flexibility and thus prolong the life of the head guard. The polyester inner material should be cleaned with a damp brush and a little detergent. This will remove dirt, debris, and sweat. The detergent also kills most of the bacteria that are responsible for the bad smell. You can also optionally use a disinfectant (without alcohol) to kill the bacteria.

ATTENTION: The head guard must never be washed in the washing machine or dried in the dryer or in direct sunlight!

* FIT & ADJUSTMENT - Die ergonomische Passform des QUANTUM Q2 Kopfschutzes lässt sich präzise auf nahezu jede Kopfform einstellen. Diese Form ist genau auf den menschlichen Kopf abgestimmt, so dass der Kopfschutz fest auf dem Kopf sitzt und auch bei harten Schlägen nicht verrutscht. Die Passform ist so konzipiert, dass der Kopfschutz die gesamte Kopfoberfläche exakt abdeckt und so jeden Winkel schützt. Der breite Klettverschluss am Hinterkopf lässt sich sehr einfach und fest verschließen und dient zur Einstellung des Kopfumfangs sowie der Kopflänge.

* PROTECTION & PADDING - Die gesamte Polsterung dieses Kopfschutzes ist handgeformt und besteht aus mehreren Schichten EVA-Schaumstoff (außen) und einer weicheren und bequemeren Schicht aus Latexschaum (innen). Die Stirn und die Seiten des Kopfes sind dick (3 cm) gepolstert, da die härtesten und gefährlichsten Schläge meist dort landen. Der Jochbein- und Nasenschutz ist sogar noch stärker und reicht mit einer 3,5 cm dicken Polsterung aus, um die Nase ideal zu schützen und Nasenverletzungen selbst bei den stärksten Schlägen zu verhindern. Dieser Schutz wurde so konzipiert, dass er großflächig und dicht an der Nase anliegt und somit auch Nasenbrüche verhindert. Die Ohröffnungen sind mit Schaumstoffringen gepolstert (die um die Ohren herumlaufen), die sowohl der Stoßdämpfung als auch dem Schutz der Ohrmuscheln dienen. Der Kopfschutz hat eine zusätzliche Polsterung auf der Oberseite des Kopfes, die den Kopf vor Ellbogentechniken, Fußtechniken und versehentlichen Treffern beim Clinchen schützt. Der Hinterkopf ist zusätzlich gepolstert, um ihn vor unbeabsichtigten Schlägen zu schützen und den Aufprall des eigenen Kopfes auf den Boden abzufedern, wenn man fällt (z. B. durch einen Knockout).

* PFLEGE - Diese Kopfbedeckung sollte nach jedem Training an einem trockenen, belüfteten und schattigen Ort trocknen. Er sollte niemals direktem Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt werden, da die Sonne sowohl das Obermaterial als auch den Schaumstoffkern beschädigen kann. Dieser Kopfschutz sollte etwa alle 30 Trainingseinheiten gereinigt werden. Das äußere Ledermaterial sollte mit einem feuchten Tuch abgewischt werden, ohne Reinigungsmittel zu verwenden. Dadurch wird der Schmutz und vor allem das im Schweiß enthaltene Salz entfernt. Das Salz entzieht dem Leder die Feuchtigkeit und macht es trocken und spröde, was seine Lebensdauer verkürzt. Wenn das Leder nach ca. 24 Stunden wieder vollständig trocken ist, können Sie es auch mit einem speziellen Lederpflegemittel einfetten (wie bei Lederschuhen), wodurch die natürliche Flexibilität erhalten bleibt und die Lebensdauer der Kopfbedeckung verlängert wird. Das Innenmaterial aus Polyester sollte mit einer feuchten Bürste und ein wenig Reinigungsmittel gereinigt werden. Dadurch werden Schmutz, Ablagerungen und Schweiß entfernt. Das Reinigungsmittel tötet auch die meisten Bakterien ab, die für den schlechten Geruch verantwortlich sind. Optional können Sie auch ein Desinfektionsmittel (ohne Alkohol) verwenden, um die Bakterien abzutöten.

ACHTUNG: Der Kopfschutz darf niemals in der Waschmaschine gewaschen oder im Trockner oder in der Sonne getrocknet werden!
